General insulation materials for copper core cables: XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene): high temperature resistance (90℃~105℃), anti-aging, suitable for fixed laying (such as YJV cable).


Rubber insulation (such as EV cable): good flexibility, suitable for mobile charging gun wire.


Cable structure: 5-core cable (three-phase + neutral wire + ground wire):

Typical model: YJV-5×6mm² (3-phase + 1N + 1PE), for fixed installation.

Shielding layer: anti-electromagnetic interference (especially DC fast charging high-frequency signal).

Voltage level: Nominal voltage: 380V, but you need to choose a cable with a withstand voltage ≥1000V (to deal with instantaneous surges).


Application scenario and specification matching: home/commercial AC pile (11kW/22kW)

Short distance (<30 meters): 4mm² (11kW), 10mm² (22kW).

Long distance (>50 meters): need to upgrade the cross-sectional area (such as 16mm² for 22kW long distance).

DC fast charging pile (above 60kW)

Requires 25mm² copper cable + liquid cooling technology (such as Tesla V3 supercharger).
