Detailed Description
Electricity pylon, is a tall structure, usually a steel lattice tower, used to support an overhead power line. They are used in high-voltage AC and DC systems, and come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. Typical height ranges from 15 to 55 metres (49 to 180 ft), even higher as per client design. In addition to steel, other materials may be used, including concrete and wood. The term "pylon" comes from the basic shape of the structure, an obelisk-like structure which tapers toward the top, and is mostly used in the United Kingdom and parts of Europe in everyday colloquial speech. This term is rarely, if ever, used in the United States, as the word "pylon" is commonly used for a multitude of other things, mostly for traffic cones. There are four major categories of electricity pylon: suspension, terminal, tension, and transposition. Some transmission towers combine these basic functions. Both tubular and lattice steel towers can be designed to be as electrical pylons. MEGATRO provide the electrical pylons for our esteemed clients. The Tower Line work involves Survey, check survey, and span calculations essential for tower extensions. Moreover, Tower designs and prototype approval is done. The towers are for 110 KV, 132 KV, 220 KV, 232KV, 230KV, 275KV, 400 KV, 500KV, 750KV, and 800KV. MEGATRO can optimized design and make electrical pylons less weight, high strength, proper span distance, good wind resistance, and economy in the use of materials. We offer comprehensive solutions to match the special requirements of each organization, aiming for absolute customer satisfaction. All our electrical pylons are marked by quality construction and superior strength, and are suitable for a wide range of demanding applications in power transmission infrastructure. MEGATRO is equipped with sophisticated machinery and equipment for the manufacture of electrical pylons, and offers a variety of designs to meet client specific. Our V-type suspension tower is fabricated by angle steel bar or solid steel pipe with angle or bracing members, which provides great strength, low weight and wind resistance, and economy in the use of materials. After fabrication all V-type suspension towers, are delivered to the galvanizing facility to be Hot DIP Galvanized. Towers are processed through the facility by Caustic Cleaning, Pickling, and then Fluxing. These strict procedures insure years of maintenance free towers. MEGATRO's electrical pylons systems can accommodate a variety of cross-arm. MEGATRO also offers a wide variety of accessories and mounts. Availability size: Based on the customer's requirements.
