XPA (2) rubber slurry pump — Product applicationXPA (2) pump is a kind of rubber slurry pump with some special properties and functions-----ore pulps are absorbed in from its back and side; the feeding apparatus is perfectly sealed; the curves of flow rate and head are very steep, which breaks the limit that rubber pump cannot be applied to head more than 60 meters, and tremendously extends the pump application range. XPA (2) rubber slurry pump — Product principleSince XPA (2) rubber slurry pump has limited suction lift, it is suggested to keep liquid level above the pump center. The diameters of feeding and discharging pipes are usually same or bigger than the diameters of feeding and discharging opening of pump. Considering the high concentration of ore pulps, it is advisable to keep the feeding pipe short to facilitate the feeding process. The features of ordinary and conventional pumps: when it comes to model selection, it selects a point or a segment of flow rate curve and head curve which correspond to certain functions. The features of XPA (2) rubber slurry pump: as the filter cake gradually emerges in the filter chamber, the feeding resistance becomes bigger and bigger. To resolve this problem, feeding pump is supposed to gradually change from “high flow rate/ low head” to “low flow rate/ high head. Since different plants have different pressure filtration systems, if the on-way resistance between feeding pump and pressure filter is considerable (the distance between pump and filter is huge; the pipe diameter is small; the viscosity of fluid is huge; etc.) head loss is increased and the pressure is decreased. As a result, the moisture of filtrate cake is enhanced and single circulation time is prolonged, which diminishes the efficiency. So it is significant to range pressure filtrate system.
