Description Of Products ：AMPICILLIN CAPSULE Product No：AMC11002-01 Specification：250mg, 10*10/box Category：Antibiotics Properties：Capsule Criteria：BP、USP Place Of Origin ： China (Mainland) Brand Name：Medipharm Validity：Three Years Main Composition： Ampicillin Appearance：white or white powder bitter taste. Indications: 1.infections of respiratory tract due to S.pneumoniae,S.pyogenes and most strains of H.influenzae. 2.Meningitis due to N.meningitidis, S.penumoniae,H,influenzae & Listeria mono cytogenes 3.infections of Urinary Tract caused by E.coil,P.mirabilis,Enterococci,Shigella,S.typhosa and other Salmonella species. 4.Conorrhoea 5.Bacterial endocarditis caused by Streptococcus viridans or Enterococci. 6.Prophylaxix of bacterial endocarditis. 7.Prophylaxix of surgical infections. Dasage： Oral Method：Adults:250mg-500mg four times daily ；Children: 125mg-250mg four times daily Contra-Indications：individuals with a history of an allergic reaction to the penicillins.It is also contraindicated in patiens with a history of amoxicillin associated hepatic dysfunction of jaundice. Adverse Reaction ：As with other Penicillins, it may be expected that untoward reactions will be essentially limited to sensitivity phenomena, they are more likely to occur in individuals who have previously demonstrated hypersensitivity to penicillins and in those with a history of allergy,asthma,hay fever or urticaria. the following adverse reactions have been reported as associated with the use of penicillins: Gastrointestinal:glossitis,stomatitis,nausea,vomiting,diarrhoea,enterocolitis,and pseudomembranous colitis. These reactions are usually associated with oral dosage forms of the drug.Hypersensitivity:occurance of an erythematous,mildly pruritic;maculopapular skin rash has been reported.
