Detailed Description

Type: interlocking Aluminum armored cable (MC cable) Standard:UL1569,UL83,UL1581 Size: 14AWG-1000kcmil Voltage: 600V Construction: Type MC Cable is constructed with soft-drawn copper, Type THHN/THWN conductors rated 90°C dry available in sizes 14 AWG through 2 AWG, and a green insulated grounding conductor. The conductors are cabled together and a binder tape bearing the print legend is wrapped around the assembly. Aluminum interlocking armor is applied over the assembly. Refer to color chart for conductor color sequence. Applications: Type MC Cable is suitable for use as follows: 1、Branch, feeder and service power distribution in commercial, industrial, institutional, and multi-residential buildings. 2、Power, lighting, control, and signal circuits. 3、Fished or embedded in plaster. 4、Concealed or exposed installations. 5、Environmental air-handling spaces per NEC 300.22 (C). 6、Places of Assembly per NEC 518.4 and theaters per NEC 520.5. 7、Installation in cable tray and approved raceways.
