• Lever type Limit Switch: Introduction: Lever Limit Switch is used for heavy duty E.O.T. Cranes, Wagon shunting devices etc., to prevent over travelling or over traversing on power and control circuit up to 500 volts A.C. 50 Hz and 10amps and 40 amps current rating. Function: The lever Limit switch operates when its lever reaches its pre-determined position and the lever is moved over a projecting member fixed on the Girder. The Limit Switch contacts are automatically reset when the lever returns to zero position due to spring action. • Weight Operated limit Switch: Introduction: Weight operated Limit Switches are used on Control / Power circuit of reversing drives so as to limit their rotation / movement within a predetermined position. Function: Weight operated Limit Switch is to stop the mechanism of drive at the extreme top position of the snatch block in a Crane. Construction: The contacts of our Limit Switch are rated for 10amps and 40 amps current rating 500 Volts A.C. The Crane Limit Switch can be provided with 1NC contact or (1No + 1NC) contacts as per the requirement. This limit switch is some what similar in construction to a Lever Limit Switch except for the Lever. In this case one side of the Lever has a weight and from the other side a plate is hung which eventually operates when the snatch block reaches its top position. • Rotary Geared Limit Switch: Introduction : Rotary Gear Limit Switch that is used on Control / Power circuit of reversing drives so as to limit their rotation / movement within a predetermined position. Function : Limit Switch is to stop the mechanism of drive at the extreme clock wise / anti clock wise position. These Rotary Limit Switches are particularly suited for use on reversing drives such as Electric Hoists, Winches, Over Head Cranes, Traversers etc. Construction : The contacts of these Limit Switches are rated for 40 amps at 500 Volts A.C. The Limit Switch can be provided with 2NC contacts or (2No + 2NC) contacts as per the requirement. The geared type rotary limit switch basically consists of heavy duty worm gear drive with a ratio of 48:1 or 60:1. We also manufacture Rotary Geared Limit Switch having Gear Ration of 1: 50, 1: 100, 1: 200 and 1: 500. The Crane Duty Rotary Geared Limit Switch is made in IP-41 as well as in IP-54 enclosure. • Warm Drive Limit Switches Introduction: The warm drive Limit Switches are designed and manufactures according to safety standard and are suitable for use on reversing drives such as hoists, winches, rolling mills etc. It is compact in design and can be easily accommodated and installed on electric hoists, where space constrains are there. The driving motion is transmitted by worm gear. All gears and hubs are made of low wear thermoplastic. The rotational movements are transmitted to switches by adjustable cams. Each lever has a single micrometric resister screw. This screw exclusively works on its own combined lever, excluding any mechanical contact with any other next to it.
