Jinan Foundry and Metalforming Machinery Research Institute was founded in 1956, as a primary science & technology centre specializes in foundry, metalforming and hydraulic industry which belong to the former Ministry of Machinery Industry of China.
In the institute, there are more than 700 workers and staff members, among them technical personnel accounts for 70% and the senior engineer accounts for 20%. Some experts and academic leaders who enjoy special allowance from the State Council are also included JFMMRI can not only manufacture foundry and metalforming machinery, CNC laser processing machinery, and hydraulic components (such as plate processing producing line, special and general mechanical press, etc. ). But also provide the supervision and inpecting of the quality of these machines as well as the related technical service. The products with advanced technology have mainly applied in the autombile, steel, electric power, vessel, energy, aerospace, and military industry.
JFMMRI is alos responsible for the technology organization and service for the Natioal Foundry and Metalforming Machinery Industry. National Quality Supervision ad Inspection Center for Foundry and Metalforming Machinery, National Technology Committee for Foundry and Metalforming Machinery, Foundry Branch and Metalforming Branch of China Machine Tool & Tool Builders' Association Mechnical Products have located in JFMMRI. The key scientific and technical periodical China Foundry Equipment Technology and China Metalforming Equipment & Manufacturing Technology have been pulished. So JFMMRI plays a crucial part on the development of China national machinery industry.
With more than 50 years history & experience and excellent professional team, JFMMRI promotes the development of foundry and metalforming machinery industry in China. Up to now, JFMMRI has already achieved more than 3100 items of national and city programs. Among them, science & technology projects are more than 1500 items and the patents are more than 150 items.
