At present, a type of fingerprint identification chip, FSC7002, has released in the market. FSC7002 integrated sensor controller and image collection, fingerprint image pre- processing, fingerprint feature extraction, fingerprint template storage, fingerprint template matching and a variety of standard interfaces. It achieved the basic fingerprint identification system in the single chip. It can achieve the entire process from fingerprint image collection to authentication in less than 0.5 seconds.
