Brief Introduction LU-S14000 series I/O module are compact, versatile sensor-to-computer interface units designed specifically for reliable operation in harsh environments. Their built-in microprocessors, encased in rugged industrial grade plastic, independently provide intelligent signal conditioning, analog I/O, digital I/O, RS-485 communication. Excellent EMC Performance —— Please refer to GB/T17626 For the following inspection items, all test results meet the limit value requirements of the standard under test severity 3(Ambient Temperature: 15℃~35℃, Relative Humidity: 30%~75%) Electrostatic discharge immunity test, Electrical fast transient/burst immunity test, Surge Immunity Test, Radiated & noise Immunity Test, Voltage Dips, Short Interruptions, and Voltage Variations Immunity Test. Modular Industrial Design For adopting DIN rail mounting, it is very easy to assemble; Signal connections are made through plug-in screw-terminal blocks, ensuring simple installation, modification and maintenance. Remote Programmable Input Range LU-S14000 series I/O modules stand out because of their ability to accommodate multiple types and ranges of input. The type and range can be remotely selected by issuing commands from a host computer. A single kind of module can handle the measurement needs of a whole plant. Since all the modules are remotely configured by the host computer, physical adjustments are unnecessary. Watchdog Timer Built in A watchdog timer supervisory function will automatically reset MCU if required, which improves the reliability and reduces the need for maintenance. Flexible Network Equipment LU-S14000 series I/O modules can communicate with the control computer just by two wires that connect with multipoint RS-485 network. Command/response protocol of complement of two's showed in hex may ensure that the I/O modules are compatible with any computer systems. Modbus Communication Protocol LU-S14000 series I/O modules now adopt Modbus/RTU protocol in remote data transmission and include all kinds of analog I/O and digital I/O that are data acquisition system needed. For supporting Modbus, LU-S14000 may be used as general purpose remote I/O modules, and can be used in any Modbus system. HMI server may read/write data via standard Modbus command instead of complicated ASCII code. RS-485 LU-S14000 series I/O modules adopt EIA-485 communication protocol which is a bi-directional balance transmission lines standard and especially developed for industry application. LU-S14000 series I/O modules has the capability of remote high-speed data receiving/transmitting, all the modules adopt optical isolator to prevent from ground looping and reduce the damage possibility to the equipment from power surge. Ready for the Industrial Environment LU-S14000 series I/O modules can work with unregulated +10 - +30VDC power supply, that ensure the modules can avoid the damage when the power be reversed connected accidentally, and with power, it may not affect network running to connect and dis-connect the signal input/output.
