Shang hai Xingling Wanli Industrial Investment Co.Ltd. was founded in 1992 and was changed over to collective ownership in 1997. It was an amalgmation of Shanghai Wanli Electronic Appliances General Factory. Shenzhen Wanli Electronic Appliances Co.Ltd. Shanghai Xingling Business Co,ltd. Shanghai Xingling Real Estate Development Co.Ltd. and Shanghai Xingmei Industry and Commerce Co.Ltd. It is a collective enterprise affliated to the Economic Committee of Chongming County in Shanghao with a registered capital of 12 million RMB. In February 2001. it purchased the former Shanghai Changzheng Screwdriver Factory. Shanghai Unique Plastics and Hardware Co.Ltd. And their product financial lesase at a price of around 10 millin RMB. Its main products are: electric bowers. hair-styling tools,hair cutting tools,screwdrivers,test pencils,combination tools and all kinds of accessories like fans and heating elements for household electronic appliances.
At present,the Corporation's product are sold in domestic supermarket,such as Lianhua,Hualian, Nonggongshang, Carrefour, Home-Gaim,Suguo,Huaneng,RT-mart and Hymart and are alsi exported to countries and regions like the United States,Japan,Korea,Indonesia,Pakistan and Hong Kong. Its annual output value is 60 mollion RMB, 40% of which comes from the exports.
The Corporation's production base is located in Chongming Island, which is the third biggest island in China and boasts beautiful scenery and pleasant environment. The base occupies an area of 27,000 square meters,among which 10,000 square meters are standand factory buidings. It has more than 200 employees, 20% of which are engineers and technicians. Its marketing office is located at the North Square of Shanghai Railway Station. Transportation there is very convenient. At the moment the company has three production lines, two imported plastics extruding lines,one heat treatment line for quenching,tempering and cleaning,twenty injection molding machines weighing from 80g to 600g(6 are imported),forty punch presses weighing from 6.3T to 160T, ten imported cross milling machines,ten comminutors and metal cutting machinery. It also has a complete set of quality-testing equipment.All its electronic products have passed China's safety authentication.
The Corporation is one of the key units drafting the national standard of electric blowers and screwdrivers and is awarded titls as "Famous Brand" in Shanghai and in China,"Famous Trademark" in Shanghai,"One Hundred Excellent Enterprises" in Shanghai's Suburbs, "Bast-selling Brand" in Sichuan market and "Qualified Enterprise" of the Ministry. After its reshuffling, the corporation changed its old management of state-run enterprises and improved the quality of Wanli electric blowers and Unique screwdrivers by making full use of its economic andtechnical resources.Itales lowers its cost by effective management. As a result, its producer price is fairly competent in the markets at home and abroad.
