Product Description The instrument is designed and made as per the National Standard of People’s Republic of China GB/T255 “Test Methods for Distillation Characteristics of Petroleum Products”, and the Industry Standard of People’s Republic of China SH/T 0121 “Technical Condition for Petroleum Products Distillation Characteristics Tester”. Product Specification/Models 1. Power supply: AC 220 V±10%, 50 Hz 2. Shield of flask: It is made by iron and with black surface and wooden handle. There is a gap, which is opposite to the handle, to let the branch tube of distillation flask get through. There is a rectangle observation window in the shield of the flask and the window is a transparent mica board. 3. Distillation flask: It is made by harden glass, so it is in good condition at a temperature of more than 500 ℃. The ball diameter of the flask is Φ69±1 mm, and the neck of the flask is Φ16±1 mm. The angle between the branch tube and the neck of flask is 75±3 °. 4. Thermometer: 0～360 ℃, and the graduation is 1 ℃. It is in accord with GB/T514. 5. Holder for cold bath: The cold bath is composed of water bath, refrigeration tube, and joints for water inlet and water outlet. The refrigeration tube is made by copper tube of Φ16×1. The inner surface of refrigeration tube is smooth and it is plated by nickel and chromium. The angle between the tube and the water level is about 15°and the length of the refrigeration tube is 555±3 mm if measured from the lower section of outer surface of the tube. The water outlet is arc, and the height of water outlet joint should higher than the upper section of the refrigeration tube for at least 10 mm to ensure fine refrigeration. The size of the cold bath is 180 mm (length) by 100 mm (width) by 150 mm (height). 6. Heating adjuster It is composed of heating furnace, silicon controlled rectifier temperature adjusting circuit and case. Its power is about 1000 W/220V and the temperature rising speed is adjustable. 7. Graduated flask and iron ring. There are two types, 10 ml and 100 ml. The graduation of graduated flask of 10 ml is 0.1 ml and the graduation of graduated flask of 100 ml is 1 ml. The iron ring is made by carbonized steel and plated with copper, nickel and chromium. It will not be rusted in the water. When mount it on the pedestal of the graduated flask, the graduated flask of 100 ml will stable in the beaker of high type. 8. Cushion for electric furnace: It is made by carbonized silicon. The outer diameter is about Φ105 mm. The inner diameter of them is 50 mm, 30 mm and with a gap. 9. Ambient temperature: -10～+35 ℃ 10. Relative humidity: ≤85% 11. Total power consumption: not more than 1100 W Application It is suitable to determine the composition of distillate in the liquid fuels, solvent oils and light petroleum products as per GB/T255.
