Chunlan Group Corp. ("Chunlan") is a diversified, high-tech, internationalized large modern company with an integration of manufacturing, R & D, investment and trade and is one of China 's largest 50 enterprise groups. Chunlan has 42 independent subsidiaries (including 18 manufacturing companies), Chunlan Research Institute, Chunlan College , Post-doctoral Working Station and State-level R & D Center.
Currently, Chunlan has three pillar industries, i.e. electrical appliances, autos and new energies. Its main products include air conditioners, washing machines, dehumidifiers, medium- and heavy-duty trucks, motorcycles, electrical bicycles, high-energy power Ni-MH batteries, motorcycle engines, air conditioning compressors, etc.
During the transformation from traditional industries to new-type industries, Chunlan established information, R & D, operation, fund, purchasing and logistics platforms by deeply pushing forward the "Innovative Matrix Management". Since then, the overall strength of enterprise has been greatly increased and its scientific and technological level has continually improved. Among its products, "Ni-MH battery pack for mixed-power passenger car and its management module" was chosen into the state "863 Program"; 20-200Ah high-energy power Ni-MH batteries had passed the state appraisal and now have been fully industrialized; staged breakthroughs have also been made in the research of fuel batteries.
Chunlan has not only sold its products to more than 120 countries and regions, but also achieved the synchronous growth of overseas investment and overseas trade and the all-round enhancements from product export to technology export, common technology to core technology, domestic recruitment to global recruitment, adaptive standards to proprietary standards and price competition to brand competition.
