Action: It plays as the cell membrane stabilizer to protect liver cells from being injured. It neutralizes oxygenic free radical and mitigates the peroxidation of lipids caused by toxicants. It improves the biosynthesis of proteins in liver cells and helps the recovery of injured ones. It has direct and indirect antifibrosis function and hence prevents hepatocirrhosis or slowers the progress.
