Xiamen UX High-Speed IC Co., LTD (UX) is a Sino- foreign joint venture enterprise which was established by Chinese oversea student in Feb.2003. It is a professional fabless IC design company, which focuses in designing high speed analog/mixed-mode integrated circuit chips, especially in designing front-end high speed transceiver chips for Fiber Optical Communication. It is the first company in mainland of China which enter mass production of these chips now.
UX starts the business with a team with core members graduated from Beijing Tsinghua University, and technical core members mainly come from Silicon Valley of US and Canada. They have worked for many years in many famous semi-conductor companies, such as TI, Cypress, ON, Epson etc. and own the most advanced design technology. They also have abundant production experience. The core technology is using mature and low cost sub-micron technique CMOS (0.13μm ~ 0.35μm）process, and the latest SiGe BiCMOS process to replace the traditional Bipolar, BiCMOS process for these ICs. CMOS process has many advantages such as low cost, low power consumption, high good-product rate and high performance/price ratio.
UX own 100% independent intellectual property rights for all of our products. The main product lines focuses on the 155M~10Gbps front-end chips of Fiber Optical Communication:
（1）TIA：Transimpedance Amplifier;（2）LA：Limiting Amplifier;（3）LDD：Laser Diode Driver。The 155Mbps、1.25Gbps chip adopt completely CMOS process and UX is the first company to enter mass production of the CMOS LA and LDD in the industry.
UX was verified by Chinese Semi-Conductor Profession Association as an integrated circuit design company, and was verified by Xiamen Science and Technology Bureau as High-technology industries enterprise in Xiamen Torch High Technology Industrial Development Zone.
