Beijing Hiconics Technology Co., Ltd. (HICON)located in Science & Technology Base of Gucheng in Shijingshan District Beijing. The company is a professional manufacturer in R&D and producing medium voltage variable frequency drives(MV VFD). The products can be widely used in power generation, metals, mining and minaral, chemical, water, cement, pulp and paper, medicine etc. to realize the regulation, energy-saving, soft start and intelligentized control for all kinds of medium voltage motor drives such as centrifugal fans, blowers, pumps and compressors. Customers can get high benefits by using these products.
The company now has over 300 personnel, including a top professional R&D team and technical workers which takes 30% of the staff. Over 65% of the staff has bachelor’s degree. The company pays much attention to human resource development.
HICON’s HIVERT series products have independent intellectual property right, and already pass the strict tests of National Electric Sciencific Academe and National Quality Supervision Test Center for Electric Control and Distribution and also pass authentication of ISO9001-2000 quality guarantee system. HICON is one of the participate members in the formulation of national medium voltage standard.
HIVERT series obtained outstanding achievements in operation. Both products’ quality and service receive good comments from users and have leading position in a good many national application fields. Daye Special Steel Group used HICON’s 1800kw VFD, the running capacity is one of the biggest ones made by China at that time. The 630kw VFD which used on No.1 flat roof of Shengli Oil Field in the centre of Cheng Island is the first domestic drive applied in ocean flat roof, thus broke the monopoly of foreign products. HICON 6kv/4000kw high-power MV VFD exported to Russia in July 2006.
Along with the perfect of fans and pumps, HICON solves two technology difficulties in 2 years: vector control and energy feedback, and successfully push out feedback type HIVERT-YVF medium voltage drives which have quadrant operating running performance. Compared to universal MV VFD the products have excellent constant torque start and fast braking characteristics. They are especially applicable for application fields such as mining hoist. HICON will launch synchronizer MV VFD series products in 2008.
Russian market is a light for HICON’s overseas market. Up to the end of 2007, HICON already saled more than 40 units to Russia. The biggest capacity is 6kv/4000kw. At present HICON established friendly relationship with some countries in East Europe and South Asia.
