It can accelerate water absorption of the troche,which highly shortens the disintegrating time. It is especially used to make water-insoluble medicine. 2. It is mainly used as disintegrating agents for troche and pills, and suspending agent for liquid preparation. Besides, its viscosity is moderate. It can improve the hardness of troches, without influencing its disintegration. At the same time, it enhances the biological availability of the medicine. 3. This product can also be used as food additives. In food industries, it is widely used as thickener, emusifier and stabilizer. It is used to making icecream, avoiding bread becoming unfresh and so on.
