Detailed Description
product introduction
Nucleating Transparent Agent BQ-88 is a high performance sorbitol based clarifying agent that reduces haze and enhances the clarify of polypropylene through nucleation of the polymer. This also leads to enhanced stiffness of the molded part and to shorter cycle time during the molding process. The product is nontoxic and can be applied in packing materials.
The substance can supply nucleus and accelerates the rate of crystallization which makes the structure of crystal grain finer. Accordingly, many characteristics of the product can be improved, including the firm of the material, the temperature of heating distortion, stability, transparent performance and the degree of surface polish. Additionally, Nucleating Agent BQ-88 can reduce the cycle of product molding and extend processing ways, then enhance the smooth of product exterior.
Nucleating Agent BQ-88 is the third era in nuclear transparent reagents. Comparing with the first era DBS and the second era MDBS, it has better biocompatibility and heat stability. Moreover, the product will not give off smell during processing. Consequently, Nucleating Agent BQ-88 applies to making-up materials of foodstuff more than that of the second era MDBS.

Moisture content ≤1%
Melting point ≥265℃
Bulk density ≥0.2~0.4g/cm3
The product was often used in transparent plastic manufactures, such as medicinal and cultural products, packing materials for drink, cup and bowl, dish and CD box and so on. Additionally, it is widely used in the things obtained by high temperature, transparent PP slice materials and transparent PP pipe. The product can be directly mixed with pp material, or used after making 2.5~5 percent particles. Commonly, the effect is marked in 0.1~0.4 percent additional qualities. We suggest that the additional quantities are from 0.1to 0.3 percent .
