AL-HP5W-1 LED MR16 on a GX5.3 base - Accent lighting using Luxeon LED technology. MR16 LED Bulbs are now available from us in 4.5-5 Watt light output, with an estimated lifespan for the LED driver of 50,000 hours ! LED technology for lighting applications is coming of age and has many advantages over conventional incandescent and fluorescent lighting. This LED lighting unit is probably the most powerful LED light source available today in a standard MR16 halogen type format. This LED bulb uses a new package Luxeon Ш LED emitter(Patented by Alight) , producing more than 130 lumens. Luxeon LED light sources are the highest flux LEDs in the world delivering the brightest solid state LED lighting solutions available . This bulb is specified for AC or DC 12V operation and can therefore be used in existing low voltage halogen lighting systems if required. This bulb consumes approx 5W of power and has a wide beam angle in the order of 50-70 degrees. It's available in Warm white, Cool white, Blue, Red and Green. The bulb front is sealed.
