The main advantages of metal fiber mat are following: 1. High working temperature: 1100 ° C (1250 ° C,maximum temperature limit) 2. Wide range of load capacity: Infrared combustion mode: 70-500kw/ m2 Blue-flame combustion mode: 500-20000kw/m2 3. Low pressure drop: Infrared combustion mode: <50pa Blue-flame combustion mode: <200pa 4. Long lifetime: 20000h 5. High radiation efficiency: >50% 6. Homogenous combustion 7. Small thermal inertia: fast startup and cooldown. 8. Resistance to thermal shock: drastic changes of heat load would not cause material damages. 9. Resistance to mechanical shock: certain mechanical shock would not cause impact on materials. 10. Burners of complicated shapes are available. Main Advantages of Metal Fiber Burners: 1. Low CO: as it is full premixed combustion and burns more fully, the emission of CO is extremely low. 2. Low NOx : <10ppm in infrared mode 3. Less noise: quietly combusting 4. High thermal efficiency: the adoption of full premixed combustion which needs very low excess air improves thermal efficiency by more than 20% compared with conventional burners. Applications of metal fiber burners: heating, annealing metal and glass products, drying materials, unfreezing materials, drying coat, hot recycle of asphalt pavement, baking equipments, etc
