Properties of cubic boron nitride(CBN):
1. The hardness of cubic boron nitride (CBN) is second only to the diamond
2. In the air, CBN can resistance to high temperature 1400 to 1600, it can withstand the high toughness of hard processing material grinding heat.
3. CBN chemically inert, under 1100 doesn't react with transition metal and therefore will not appear when grinding or cutting iron material such as diamond chip sticking phenomenon, which decides it is very valuable when grinding steel abrasive.
4. The thermal conductivity of CBN is good.
