Detailed Description
Cassava starch production line is composed of the following steps:
Cassava choosing-cassava cleaning and washing-crushing-concentrating-refining-dewatering/dehydrating-drying-packing
 
1.Cassava choosing process
The quality of the raw cassava has an important influence on the starch quality, therefore the cassava choosing process is the first step towards a high quality cassava starch product. If the chosen cassava is less than 10 months, the cassava starch extraction rate will be very low. While the cassava more than 24 months old cassava has been qualitative which caused great difficulties to broken and grinding. Thus it not only resulted in the reduction of the extraction rate but also increase the  cost which is also not a good choice. Therefore it will be better to choose raw cassava between 10-12 month.
 
2.Cleaning and washing process
The purpose of cleaning is to remove sand, soil and peel which can not only reduce starch ash content but also be good for the next processing procedure. During the time of transportation, the cleaning is carried out, so the feeding should be even. If there is too much cassava in the cage, there will be no space for cassava to roll, needless to say to achieve the purpose of cleaning. While too little will waste space and influence the output.
After cleaning process in the cassava starch production line, the cassava will be transported into the paddle washing machine to washing the impurities attached to cassava. By the effort of the paddle rotating, the cassava moves in reverse with the water in the washing tank which can remove the sand and mud effectively.
 
3.Crushing process
The third procedure of the cassava starch production line is the crushing. And rasper is a widely used machine in this process. The purpose of crushing is to crush the raw cassava into cassava slurry, thus the binding starch in the cassava will be converted into free starch.In this process, the Water consumption and starch yield are two important indicators.  DOING rasper is an achievement which fully absorb the international advanced technology. 4.Concentrating process
The next procedure of the cassava starch production line is the concentrating process. The purpose of this process is to separate the fiber and starch slurry. Normally in order to have a better separation effect, this process will repeat four or five times according to different requirements of the different materials. For example, sweet potato normally needs four times, while potato requires five times. After every processing, it need take samples of the starch slurry to test the starch content. During the repeat process, the water can be recycled which is a good way to reduce the water consumption.
 
5.Desanding process
Even after many centrifuge process, the starch slurry still contains some small fiber and other impurities. Therefore it still need to be refined further. The fine fiber sieve is used for this process. By taking advantage of its own gravity and low centrifugal fore, this machine can separate the small fiber from starch slurry efficiently. This fine fiber sieve is designed with automatic front and back washing system which guarantee the good screen penetration. And the stainless steel screen cloth ensures high quality of the final starch.The sand in the cassava slurry needs to be removed by the desander. The principle of the desander is that: Relying on pressure rotating, the desander will sink the heavy material under the action of centrifugal force to the bottom outlet, while the lighter material (starch) will concentrated into the center of desander and discharged from the upper outlet. Thus the separation process is done.
 
6.Refining process
After the above two process in the cassava starch production line, there still exists a small amount of insoluble protein, soluble proteins and other impurities. These residual substances not only seriously affect the quality of starch but also make the deep processing of products such as syrup, glucose, medicine, textile, and other products fail to meet the quality standards. Therefore this section will mainly separate fiber, protein and cell from starch milk to concentrate and delicate scrubbing starch milk.
Hydrocyclone station is composed of several hydrocyclone the number of which depends on the actual situation of the production line. The machine is designed with sample valve and pressure gage which make it easier to control the starch concentration.
 
7.Dewatering process
The next step of cassava starch production line is the dewatering. The dewatering machine in Doing Company is the vacuum filter. This touch material is made of high quality stainless steel which ensures high starch quality and the scraper is made of high quality hardness alloy.
During the dewatering process, when the thickness of starch on the filter cloth surface ups to 5-6mm, it need to adjust the scraper and scrape off the starch. At the same time, it will be better to keep the starch with a thickness of 3-4mm on the filter cloth, and adjust the feeding speed to observe the dehydration effect. If the material humidity is too high, the machine speed can be slowed down, thus the dehydration effect will be better.
 
8.Drying process
After dewatering, the starch will be dried in the flash dryer machine. The heat flow goes into the heat exchanger to heat the clean air which is entered through another end into hot wind, then goes into the drying tower to dry the starch. All the air entered into the dryer tank is cleaned by the air filter which is another design to ensure the quality of the final starch quality. Within 2-3 seconds, the hot air will vaporize the water through high  and let it out through the separator.
 
9.Packing Process
After all these procedure, the whole cassava starch production line is almost finished. What we need to do is to pack these processed cassava starch carefully and store them in warehousing timely. And then it is the end of the production line.
