80mm mineral wool insulation mobile asphalt plant 4kw filler conveyor 25.7CBM bitumen pump Mixing tower description of mobile asphalt batching plant After dryer drying the aggregate, it would be conveyredontothe vibrating screen where the material isgraded and delivered into the individualcompartments of the hot stone storage bins.Oversize material rejected by the top deck ofthe screen is passed to a reject chute at theend of the mixing and screening section. Thefiller is loaded into the silo and with the bindersupply in circulation, the plant is ready forbatch production. From a control cabin theoperator controls the flow of material accordingto the specification required. Aggregateis discharged to the batch weigh hopper fromthe storage bins and weighed. The materialfrom the batch weigh hopper is then dischargedinto a fulty enclosed batch elevator andconveyed to the Mixer. Filler is added from thefiller silo through a filler weigh hopper adjacentto the Mixer. Bitumen alsois weighed Into aWeigh Tank adjacent to theMixer.Aggregate is passed into the Mixer for preset dry mixing time after which bitumen isadded and mixing continues for the necessary wet mix period until the batch is ready fordischarge into the transporter(trolley) sited below thedischarge doors of theMixer. Provisionis made for filler to be added before or afterbitumen according to requirements.
