Iron based Amorphous Ribbon
 
1  Introduction
 
It's an amorphous alloy consisting of 80%Fe, 20%Sic and B metals, formed by rapid solidification. With high permeability, high saturation flux density, low loss and good stability, it can meet modern electronic product's requirements in high frequency, large current, miniaturization and energy saving, and also can replace silicon steel, permalloy and ferrite in electrical and electronic products.
 
2  Application
 
Widely used in iron core for distribution transformer, medium frequency power transformer, inverter, high-power switching power supply, pulse transformer, magnetic amplifier, saturable reactor, PFC inductor, filter inductor and so on.
 
3  Feature
 
High saturation flux density-- to reduce winding turns and product size
High resistivity, low coercivity-- to improve production performance
Low loss(equal 1/3 to 1/5 of silicon sheet)--to cool temperature, improve efficiency
Low excitation--to decrease no-load current, and noise
Variable permeability-- to suit for different application by different heat treatment process
Good temperature stability--long-term operation under 130° C
