The Epson DX5 solvent print head new model is used by recent Chinese solvent printers and Epson Stylus Pro 4400 / 4450 and 4800 printers. It is a new generation print head that allows fast speed, high resolution printing with ecosolvent or mild solvent inks. The Epson DX5 original print head is delivered in a sealed Epson package. This printhead should not be used on Mutoh Valuejet or Mimaki JV33 / JV5 printers as it has different voltages and therefore offers a different image quality. This printhead is suitable for chinese printers developped specifically for these new DX5 solvent heads. Most chinese printers will not accept this new printhead model as they need the standard DX5 solvent head.
