III. Mechanical Seal Installation
- When replacing the mechanical seal, specifications, models should be conformed to the original ones;
- During the installation of mechanical seal, it should be kept clean, and can not be beaten in order to prevent damage or destruction;
- The surface of sealed valve and dynamic and static ring should be coated with a layer of clean and transparent oil when installing;
- Place the stationary seal ring and big rubber ring in the pump cover, then set together on the shaft (Note: dynamic battle pinmust be aligned with the driving hole of the impeller).
- Integral shells funding seat, spring and thrust ring as one-piece, and pushing it onto principle axialat the strength point of spring surface. The thrust to compress the spring 2-4mm and sliding on the shaft is appropriate. If it can slide without compressing the spring, then the rotating seal ring fits loosely with the principle axial and the friction is small. If the rotating ring and seal ring can not slide by compressing the spring for more than 6mm, then they fit too close. Mechanical seal should be checked if it is consistent with the original.
