The MW-M96 is a dual band 2.4GHz & 5GHz and feature-rich vehicle wireless router for commercial applications that require high speed portable 3G data network, fast wireless connection, and precision GPS tracking as a solution. It is based on MediaTek (MTK) MT7620A processor with 128MB DDR2 memory and 16MB Flash configuration. The MW-M96 supports 2.4GHz (802.11n 300Mbps) and 5GHz (802.11ac 867Mbps) concurrently while connecting 3G UMTS data network at the same time. It supports multiple DC-HSPA+, HSPA+, HSPA, WCDMA, EDGE, GPRS and GSM bands for especially European network operators and may also support operators in other regions.The MW-M96 is also a vehicle gateway having a dedicated power input connector using 3pin aviation plug or 4pin power connector with integrated power protection on board to control incoming power to the router and optional professional grade GPS tracking chip on board for precision positioning applications. In addition, it offers optional battery power as a backup power feature to maintain power up to the router when the primary power is unavailable temporarily. The MW-M96 is a ruggedness and robustness industrial grade device suitable for current and emerging vehicle services, systems, and applications.
