Hepcinat-LP is an anti-viral medication that helps in treatment of chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection. This prescription medicine contains90 mg of Ledipasvir and 400 mg of Sofosbuvir. These are nucleotide inhibitors of the viral RNA polymerase.
The drug functions by preventing the reproduction replication of the virus within the body.
Hepcinat-LP should be taken only under the doctor’s guidance. Only adults who are over 18 years of age should take it. Pregnant or breast feeding women should not take Hepcinat-LP. Inform the doctor if you are planning to get pregnant. Hepcinat-LP can lead to birth defects in the unborn child.
The recommended frequency of the tablet is 1 per day. Never exceed the dose recommended under any circumstances. Make sure to take the tablet at the same time everyday. Maintain a gap of at least 24 hours between two tablets. One should use Hepcinat-LP at least 4 hours before or after taking antacids.

Hepcinat-LP can interact dangerously with other drugs. Thus, inform your doctor if you are taking other medications such as medicines for heart conditions, cancer, tuberculosis, and other antiviral medications. Also inform the doctor if you take other herbal medications, vitamin supplements, etc.
