Hepcinat is a drug used to treat Hepatic C virus (HCV) infection in combination with other drugs. It is usually given along with ribavirin for treatment of chronic Hepatitis C infection. It may also be used to treat Hep-C infection in patients who are waiting for a liver transplantation. Hepcinat is given to patients in whom the risk of reinfection needs to be decreased.
Use Hepcinat exactly as prescribed by the doctor. Never take more or less than prescribed. Stop the drug after the prescription period is over. Take the tablet with a glass of water, with food or without food.
If you miss one dose, take it immediately after you remember it. If the time for the next dose is almost up, do not take the missed dose. If you overdose, call the doctor immediately.
