Detailed Description
With the continuous development of the machine tool industry, many workpieces needs polishing, the internal grinder produced by Hermos is one type of machine tool. Internal grinder is used to polish the inner hole surface and end face of cylindrical or annular workpieces.
 
Internal grinding machine mainly consists of the high precision internal grinder and normal internal grinder, and the former one is used more widespread. Different kinds of cylindrical or annular workpieces’ the inner hole surface and end face can be polished by internal grinder, such as bearing and air conditioner compressor sleeve artifacts. High precision internal grinder can meet 80% of workpieces’ precision demand, and it can polish workpieces efficiently. Now, the famous internal grinder is made by Hermos.
 
Internal grinder is composed of lathe bed, headstock, abrasive tool, grinding carriage, tailstock, sliding parts and workbench. The lathe bed is the most basic supporting parts with hydraulic oil inside. The lathe bed can keep other parts, which are installed on it, on accurate place, and ensure the grinding machine work smoothly. Headstock is used to install and clamp processing parts, and it can turn processing parts anti-clockwise ninety degrees in a horizontal plane in order to operate conveniently. Abrasive tool is the main shaft used to support grinder bed’s inner hole, which needs electromotor to drive. Cnc surface grinder carriage is installed on sliding saddle which is used to support grinding wheel and deliver high speed rotation power. According to different kinds of workpieces, grinding carriage could make corresponding adjustment and turn both clockwise and anti-clockwise thirty degrees in a horizontal plane. Tailstock is also an important support part. Sliding parts can make transverse feeding mechanism move and drive sliding saddle and grinding carriage transverse feeding move. Workbench consists of two floors, if the taper of conical surface is very small, the up floor can turn around the down floor within the scope of ten degrees. Headstock and tailstock can move longitudinally for back and forth with workbench.
 
At present, internal grinding machine has been widely used in machining. High precision internal grinder can process inner surface of circular parts more carefully. High precision internal grinder is especially popular with small batch production workshop, tool workshop and machine repair workshop as it’s good universality although it’s productivity is low.
