MORE SHINE GROUP LTD., was founded in Hangzhou in 1912 of the Republic of China. The founder Mr. Mo Chaifu has once been called “Half City Mo” in Hangzhou and is one of the famous entrepreneurs in the modern history of Hangzhou. Mo Group was originally known as Mo Chaifu Transportation Firm, which is the earliest company engaged in wharf transportation in Jiangnan (regions south of the Yangtze River), i.e. modern freightage company. In a long historical period, the shipping industry and wharf transportation industry in the middle and east river deserve to be called the transportation lifeblood of Hangzhou. The goods and materials taken in and sent out in these wharfs not only support Hangzhou’s economy but also cover southeast and northern China. Besides the Transportation Firm, Mo Group owned many corporation entities and finance companies as well, including “lumber companies, old-style Chinese private bank, hotels and shops” etc.
With the outbreak of Sino-Japanese War, its land and capital being confiscated, the family business suffered unprecedented strike. Thus, Mo’s descendants were forced to leave the native place. Along with the establishment of new China and the reform and opening-up policy, the third generation of Mo returned to the hometown under the rapidly developed economic environment and loose political environment to inherit ancestral property, and to reestablish Mo Group Co., Ltd.. Depending on profound cultural deposit and technical experience, Mo Group successively accomplished the investment and realized holding of “ZHONGSHAN XISILANG LIGHTING CO.,LTD ” and “YUYAO HUAJIAN FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT CO.,LTD”. In 2014, the group company founded “HANGZHOU SELIN IMP & EXP CO.,LTD.” and set up a sales representative office in Germany, aiming for the internationalization of fire products
Lighting Factory specializes in the production and marketing of lighting. In 2013, a flagship store of lighting products was successfully founded in Taobao, China’s largest network sales platform, realizing the Online-to-Office pattern of domestic sales.
