Insulation material fiberglass veil 1. quick permeation 2. thickness uniformity, no stains 3. quick permeation, Product Description: Fiberglass Mat is a non-woven material typically used for laminate build-up and repair work. Fiberglass Mat consists of glass fibers laid randomly across each other and held together by a styrene binder. Remark: All Fiberglass Mat is made to be used with resin to create hard, composite parts. However, it is NOT compatible with epoxy resin. Mat has a light binder that holds it together. During lay-up, it requires styrene to break down that binder and allow for complete resin saturation. Epoxy does not contain styrene and therefore cannot be effectively used with the mat. Use polyester or vinyl ester resin with these applications. Application: Usually chopped strand mat for the production of products with a uniform cross-section and of moderate intensity, such as boat hulls, automobile parts, bathroom fixtures, water tanks, furniture, etc.
