Mobilephone housing double injection mold is making 2 different plastic material combined together through doulbe injection molding.
The raw material of double injection are often collocated for mobilephone housing as below:
1)PC+ABS/TPE,the color black,red,grey are used for PC+ABS part and black for TPE,like MOTOROLA
2)ABS,PC+ABS/TPU,the color black,red,grey are used for PC+ABS,ABS part,and black,grey for TPU part,like NDA use the collocation often.
3)Transparent PC,PMMA/ABS,PC+ABS.Transparent PC,PMMA collocated with ABS,PC+ABS with the cplor black,yellow and blue.
4)ABS/ABS,yellow,black,grey,red are often employed to make mobilephone housing colorful.
The design difference and different material collocation require special differnt measure used for double injection mobilephone housing.
1)The key trouble shooting of the double injection mold,that collocation of TPE and TPU, is how to slove the adhesion between 2 differnt material
and air flow mark during production.It is a very critical points during design.
2)The special measure for transparent PC and PMMA collocation with ABS and PC+ABS is to how to choose best gate location,
and how to make best process control plan to delete the underlying air flow mark and spot during production.
