Mud tank system is a small tank with mud agitator, mud gun and one small centrifugal pump.The cleaned drilling mud is from mud gun, been mixed by mud agitator and feeding power is from the centrifugal pump.Except mud tank system, KOSUN can also drilling mud system and drilling centrifuge system.
Mud agitator mainly used to agitate and mix the drilling mud to prevent solids particles from depositing in the circulating mud tank and to stabilize the performance of drilling fluid.KOSUN mud agitator is composed of explosion-proof motor, speed reducer, motor base and blade.The connection between motor and speed reducer, speed reducer and impeller shaft is achieved by steel coupling. The impeller of drilling fluids agitator is welded by four blades.
Mud gun is used to provide supplemental or primary mixing in mud tanks depending on the number being used and the pit size. Mud guns are best used in tank corners to keep solids from settling with a mud agitator placed in the tank center. The mud gun in the drilling mud system is also used to transfer mud from compartment to compartment, like for trip tank compartment.
KOSUN CP Series centrifugal pump is used for transporting drilling mud. Drilling mud centrifugal pump can be used as feeding pump for desander, desilter, or used as mixing pump for jet mud mixer. Also it can be used as trip pump and supercharging pump for rig screw pump.
