Detailed Description
Now magnetic-gravity concentration process, magnetic-flotation process or gravity concentration-magnetic-flotation process are mainly adopted. Some ore beneficiation plants firstly adopt gravity concentration process to recover Iron ore; then concentrate its tailings by magnetic separation, or finely screen before the last dressing process. In the magnetic-gravity concentration process, magnetite is firstly recovered by using weak magnetic field; then Iron ore is recovered from its tailings by gravity concentration process. Flotation separation is the main process of magnetic-flotation process to separate Iron concentrate. Gravity concentration process is used to recover coarse-sized Iron ore, and magnetic separation is adopted to recover fine-sized magnetite. As to the compactly-crystallized Iron-magnetite quartzite, gravity concentration process is widely used to dress ores that embedded with coarse particles. And high-intensity magnetic separation or flotation separation is used to dress ores of fine size. For clayey Iron-magnetite quartzite, ore washing process and dry-type magnetic separation is mainly adopted. Iron Ore Beneficiation Process: In the Iron ore dressing process, we can adopt ore washing, gravity concentration process, flotation separation, magnetic separation and roasting-magnetic separation. Also, flotation separation and electric separation can be used as selective operation. According to ores’ different properties, various types of ore dressing processes can be formed. When coarse-sized or massive ores are mixed with depleted materials, dense medium dressing technology is often adopted. Some Iron Ore Beneficiation use jigger to dress grainy ores, and for medium-fine sized ores, spiral concentrators are adopted for gravity concentration, or using high-intensity magnetic separators for magnetic separation. About silici-ferruginous rock that embedded with fine particles, flotation separation or roasting-magnetic separation is used.
