Iron Distribution in China:
In our country, the lean ore and compound ore associated with other components account for large part, the majority of the iron ores need to be dressed before the metallurgy. The distribution of the hematite, and during the rocks exploitation process, ore beneficiation is indispensable.
Magnetic separator is one of the important composing parts of the hematite beneficiation technology. The main hematite beneficiation equipment includes dry magnetic separator and wet magnetic separator.
Rock Crushing:
In the
ore beneficiation plants of our country, they often adopt coarse crushing, medium crushing and fine crushing to crush the iron ore. The coarse crushing mainly uses gyratory crusher, and the medium crushing uses standard type cone crusher. The rocks after being coarsely crushed should be smaller than 1m in the size, and after medium and fine crushing; the materials are screen into final products with the granularity smaller than 12mm and then are sent to the rock grinding chute.
Rock Grinding Technology:
The main iron ore grinding technology adopts two-stage grinding process, and medium and small-sized ore beneficiation plants adopt one-stage grinding process. Due to the application of new technology of re-grinding after being screened by the fine screen, in recent years, some
ore beneficiation plants have changed the two-stage grinding into three-stage grinding.
