MEGATRO provide every type of mid hinged column, which have been designed to be installed where access is limited, such as, footpaths, railway stations, etc. The lowering and raising of the column is simple to use and does not require the additional purchase of expensive hydraulic pump equipment, etc. as the simple attachable kit is supplied with the column. Our standard finish to these columns is hot dipped galvanised to BS EN-10025 for mild steel. Alternative finishes are available upon request, for example, painted finishes, anti-poster and anti-graffiti paint, bitumen roots. • Available in 4,5, and 6 meter shaft heights • Available with either a planted or flanged base • Designed to be used on sites where access for maintenance is difficult • Can be installed on site without the use of a vehicle • Stainless Steel hinge fitted with Dry Lubrication phosphor bronze bushes for a fit and forget operation • Specifically profiled shape allows the shaft sections to appear circular in the closed position for improved aesthetics • Hot Dipped Galvanization • Root protection G1 as standard • Treated backboard and earth fly lead • Internal pre wiring as standard Customer special requirements can normally be accommodated Our Column type has 4M 1pc, or 5m 1pc, or 6m1pc.
