Physical and chemical properties: Superfine Aluminum hydroxide, a kind of white loose powder, has high whiteness and low bulk density. It is stable at room temperature and turned into alumina under being heated, decomposed and dehydrated. This product is different from other flame retardant material, because it does not produce toxic and corrosive gas. Heat absorption and water vapor release under heat make it a good one with flame retardant and self-extinguishing performance. Thus, to add this aluminum hydroxide in the advanced composite materials such as plastic, rubber, will make products have flame retardant and smoke abatement effect, and enhance its resistance to electricity leakage, arc and abrasion.
