Physical and Chemical Properties:
Toothpaste grade aluminum hydroxide is a kind of white powder non-toxic and harmless crystal. It has high white degree, moderate hardness, excellent fluorine keeping ability and good matching performance, strong detergency and stable chemical properties. The product is a kind of filling type flame retardant material, and its main ingredient is AL (OH) 3. It is applied in flame retardant field of rubber, toothpaste friction agent, plastic products, etc. It can give flame retardant, smoke abatement and antistatic properties to those products, such as mine conveyor belt, mine air duct coated cloth, rubber piper, slab rubber, carpet, rubber liner, PVC wire and cable, wire and cable sheath, building materials, damping paste, damping plate, electronic, and so on. It has advantages of low cost, high performance, etc. The flame retardant is inorganic compounds, so it does not cause secondary pollution.

Applications:
1) It is applied in artificial marble (imitation marble) material, jade and agate. It can also be used in high-grade kitchen utensils, kitchen cabinets, cutlery and the decorative material of luxurious entertainment hall and conference hall,
2) It can produce high voltage insulator electric wire and cable with good resistance to arc and leakage. High temperature decomposed gas caused by burning is harmless to human beings and animals, which makes it a good packing for environmental protection.
3) It is a good packing material for plastic and rubber products. This product is fine inorganic flame retardant, combining the functions of smoke abatement, insulation, flame retardant, reinforcing and filling.
4) It is widely used in the production of aluminum salt chemical products, cryolite, aluminum fluoride salt, polyaluminium chloride, glass, pharmaceutical, toothpaste, printing ink, coating, fine paper, etc.
