Chicken mesh is also known as hexagonal wire netting, poultry wire, or chicken wire mesh. Chicken mesh is a effective method of containing both domestic and commercially chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese. it can also be a big deterrent to predators such as foxes. For relatively small areas of domestic poultry, such as a back yard and where the poultry are kept indoors overnight so risk of predator attack is small, poultry netting are the easiest to erect and move. It is also applied as pipe wrapping in petroleum and chemical industries, for construction and residential windows, garden fence, poultry farms and zoos.

Vinyl coated chicken wire mesh has a long life. The thick coating is tightly bonded to the wire and extremely resistant to cracking, chipping and weathering.
