Nimonic Strip is comprised of large deformation strength, thermal consistency and mechanical properties in the elevated temperatures. Nimonic is a precipitation hardenable nickel-chromium-cobalt alloy strengthened by the addition of Titanium and Aluminium. Nimonic Strip has excellent resistance to oxidation and electrical resistivity and it is suitable for using in the electric furnaces and hot wire foam cutters. Specification of Nimonic Strip:- Strip Size - Thickness – 0.05mm above, Width- 2mm above. Characteristics of Nimonic Strip 1. Very large deformation competence, thermal stability, mechanical character, shockproof nature in thermal state and anti-oxidization in the high temperature. 2. Excellent electrical resistivity at high temperatures or running under cyclic heating and cooling conditions 3. Ultimate tensile strength is 105 x 103 PSI, yield strength 50 x 103 PSI and modulus of elasticity is 31 x 106 PSI. Applications of Nimonic Strip:- 1. Heating Elements 2. Hot-Wire Cutter 3. High-Temperatures Uses 4. Igniters, motorcycle silencers 5. Used for internal support to Ceramics.
