Deep Penetration Sealer (DPS), as the name indicates, permeates to a depth of 2 to 3 mm, when reacting with Alkali and lime, it creates a Silica gel membrane within the pores and capillaries existing in the concrete. Not only DPS seals the concrete against the ingress of water and moister, but also provide hardens and strengthens when the concrete complete full hydration. This reaction makes DPS as an integral part of the concrete and not only a simple coating that can peel off within the time.
