Package, Storage, Transportation and Attention: USABLE LIFE AND STORAGE When stored at or below 32°C (90°F) in original unopened containers, M-2 RTV Silicone Rubber has a shelf ife of 12 months from date of manufacture. Refer to product packaging for “Use By” date. Both base and curing agent can be sensitive to moisture and contamination Ensure containers are tightly closed after use. 1. M-2 RTV Silicone Rubber is supplied as a base and lot-matched curing agent in 1- and 10-kg (2.2- and 22-lb) kits. All weights net. 2. Product is non hazard material, store in dry, well ventilated area, under shade, avoid rainwater and direct sun shine. 3. Storage period is 12 months. Stir uniform before using. Product exceeds shelf life may still be useful if meets specification. 4. It can’t contact the vulcanizing agent of the condensation silicone rubber, otherwise the catalyst will cease to be in force and the rubber won’t be vulcanized. Some chemicals including amine, sulfocompound, phosphoric compound and metal salt can lead to that the product won’t be vulcanized.
