Detailed Description
Push-back Racking Working Principle Pallets are placed by forklift on nested carts riding on inclined rails. Each pallet is then pushed back by subsequent pallet loading, exposing the next cart. When removing product, the forklift takes out the front pallet, allowing the pallets on carts behind it to roll gently to the front of the rack. The nested carts make placement and retrieval easy. While picking up the front pallet from the rack, the second pallet will slide to the front. It is a first in last out storage concept but it is different from Drive-In rack, handling truck operate only at the front of the rack without drive into the rack. Advantages : Push back rack have all the advantages of Drive-In rack and Live Storage Rack, pick and drop at the same face, first in last out and is best for the storage of mast volume and lesser SKU. It is found in small warehouse and the floor utilization is about 70%. Features: . Operates on the FILO (First In, Last Out) principle. . Store product from 2-5 pallets deep. . Weight of single pallet with goods normally less than 1500kg. With front-only loading from a single aisle, push back offers more versatile storage than Drive-In rack because each lane flows independently and vertical storage operates separately from lanes below. Multiple pick facings for a variety of SKUs can be stored and retrieved without disturbing other product above or below in a single-lane or double-lane format
