Description of Coconut Shell Activated Carbon : The coconut shell activated carbon adopts imported high quality coconut shell as raw material. Refined by American advanced rotary kiln technics, It has features of developed porosity, good adsorption capacity, high bleaching&deodorizing efficiency, high strength, long service life and full range which includes gold coconut shell activated carbon, water purification activated carbon, the MSG refined activated carbon, petrochemical RHSS activated carbon, the vinylon catalyst activated carbon, ethylene desalination water activated carbon and cigarette filter tip activated carbon, etc. Coconut shell activated carbon is widely used in food, health care, mining, metallurgy, petrochemical, steel-making, tobacco, beverages, alcoholic, air purification, chemical and other industries. It is also used for deodorization of high purity drinking water, removal of heavy metals and chlorine in water and decolorization for liquids. So it can be widely used in the chemical industry for solvent recovery and gas separation. Classification and Application: 1. RHSS activated carbon: used as catalyst carrier in a refinery catalytic device for gasoline sweetening. 2. Vinylon catalyst activated carbon: used as catalyst carrier in chemical industry, used as vinyl acetate catalyst carrier for example. 3. MSG refined activated carbon: used for mother liquor decoloration in MSG production process, and used for bleaching refining of fine chemical products. 4. Cigarette filter tip activated carbon: used in cigarette filter tip to get rid of cigarette tar, nicotine and other toxic and hazardous substances. 5. Citric acid activated carbon: used for decoloration, offodor and refining of citric acid, amino acid and cystine. 6. Pure water activated carbon: used for deep purification for household drinking water, plant water, and bottled water. 7. Protection activated carbon: used in impregnated carbon production, filling filters and industrial antivirus appliances. Application Notes: 1. Do not mix-store with hard substance during transport, do not step on or tread on the activated carbo to preserve the integrity. 2. Keep dry during transport or storage. 3. Prevent the tar-like substance entering into the activated carbon bed to avoid blockage of the activated carbon pores. 4. Keep off the flames in case of fire, avoid the intake of oxygen during regeneration keep the temperature below 80℃ by steam cooling in case spontaneous combustion happens in meeting oxygen conditions.
