CAS NO.35176-78-4 MF:C25H34O12 SYNONYM:BENZENE-1,3-DICARBOXYLTC ACID,DIMETH GENERAL DESCRIPTION TP5050 is a Carboxyl Saturated Polyester Resin which is cured with Epoxy Resin (50:50) to produce the Hybrid Powder Coating providing excellent flow-abilities, mechanical properties, decorative effects, and very good yellowing resistance. TYPICAL PROPERTIES Appearance Light white granulate Testing Standard Color(50% DMF solution) ≦4 ASTM D 1544 Acid Value (mgKOH/g) 75-85 ASTM D 1613 Melting Point (ºC) 100-110℃ Ball and Ring Glass Temperature (ºC) 55 (Approx.) ASTM D 3418 ICI Viscosity (175ºC)(Pa.S) 0.45~0.6 ASTM D 4287 NOTICE:Some specifications can be adjusted by your requirement. CURING CONDITION 180℃ for 15min.(Metal Temperature) RECOMMENDED FORMULATION FOR APPLICATION contents wt% TP5050 32.5 EPOXY RESIN 32.5 Titanium Dioxide 32.7 Flowing agent TP88 1 Benzoin 0.3 TOXICITY,SAFETY MEASURES This resin is non-flammable and no toxicity is known. Follow usual hygiene practice when handling resin. However take into account the potential risk resulting from additives such as catalysts, hardeners, pigments, etc FDA STATEMENT When properly formulated and cured for food contact application, TP4127 will comply with the US Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act as amended under food additive Regulation 21 CFR 175.300.
