GENERAL DESCRIPTION TP41 HARDENER is a phenolic hydroxyl-containing resinous curing agent,designed for formulating powder coatings,showed highly resistance to chemical and solvents as well as outstanding mechanical property when used in combination with various solid epoxy resins, in especially, novolac epoxy resin. TYPICAL PROPERTIES Appearance crystalline solid Epoxy equivalent 240-260 viscidity 25℃mPas 100-400（150℃） Melting point℃ 78-90 APPLICATION The powder coating formulated with this product is widely used in high corrosive-resistance fields such as application for big packaging container, accessory, steel bars [rebar] in construction and petrol/gas pipelines etc. Due to 2% of 2- methyl imidazole catalyst and ca. 1% of acrylic flow modifier in it, it may provide exceptional flow and a wide range of temperature curing. Furthermore, the catalyst present in Tp41 tends to promote crosslinking of epoxy resin and also play role of part curing agent, for this reason we suggest that the use of a 5-10% mol. excess of epoxy resin to get optimum properties.
