CAS NO.2451-62-9 MF:C12H15N3O6 SYNONYM:TRI(2.3-EPOXYPROPYL)-ISOCYANURATE GENERAL DESCRIPTION TGIC is a Curing Agent for Powder Coatings systems that combined with adequate Polyester resins provides coating systems with good outdoors durability and mechanical properties，excellent flow and high gloss. TYPICAL PROPERTIES Appearance White granule or powder Melting range 90∼110℃ Epoxy equivalent < 110 Viscosity(at 120) < 100CP Epichlorohydrin < 50ppm Volatile Matter < 1.0% Chlorine < 1.5% CURING CONDITION 200℃ 15minutes APPLICATION Mainly used as Curing Agent for polyester powder coating, also used to manufacture electrical insulation materials, laminated sheetings, printed cruts, tools, adhesives, stabilizer for plastic materials,etc. It imparts good weather stability due to its very stable chemical nature. It provides good reactivity through its free functional epoxide groups when it is combined with resins containing carboxyl groups as saturated polyesters. The powder will cure with no especial of VOC.
