The D type impulse current test systems are sophisticated designed to generate the lightning impulse current. The test system is not only applied in production plants but also in research institutes and student training. The series impulse generator can output 8/20μs, 10/350μs and 10/1000μs shapes. The technical parameters of the shapes satisfy the last IEC, ANSI/IEEE and GB national standards. The producer of the elements can use the generator for production lines. The generator can be operated in 24 hours and 365 days. The generator can be applied for SPD test. The test can be products quality proof of products. The operation on-duty test can also be applied with AC power source. The test system can operate with the computer controlled system. The actions are automatically preceded and all functions are remotely controlled by the computer. The impulse generator system can be upgraded into specified waveforms and higher current type. The systems can generate 8/20μs and 10/350μs waveform with circuit switching.
