Alumina nanoparticles(VK - L07X) can greatly improve the tensile strength, heat-resistant, anti-aging and abrasion resistance of rubber. Experiments show that the rubber treated with nano alumina and nano silicon dioxide at the quality ratio of 1:1 has best tensile strength and at the ratio of 3:1 has the best abrasion resistance and resistance to fatigue performance. Alumina nanoparticles can make rubber has good thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, density and wear resistance. Alumina nanoparticles can greatly improve the properties of rubber, such as thermal conductivity and insulation, physical and mechanical properties as well as corrosion resistance because of its high thermal conductivity. The silicone rubber fill with alumina can be used for electronic components heat conduction layer. With the dosage of alumina increase, the thermal conductivity of silicone rubber will increase and the thermal expansion coefficient will reduce.
