Detailed Description
The medical application of CO2 laser is based on the principle of Photo-thermal Ablation. Once the CO2 laser is delivered to the soft tissue, the light energy is absorbed by the water inside the biological soft tissue. By heating up and vaporizing the water, the biological tissue is torn apart. In order to minimize heat convection to surrounding tissue and collateral heat damage, the duration of the laser beam on the tissue can be controlled under 1 ms. The CO2 laser system delivers an intense infrared light beam with 10600 nanometers wavelength which can be absorbed by body tissue (no matter what color the skin is) almost by 100%. This specific wavelength has a dramatic effect to biological soft tissue. Our CO2 surgical laser system uses state-of-the art technologies and is designed to cut, vaporize, burn, and solidify tissue for different clinical surgery procedures. At the same time our laser system uses controlled pulses of light to precise ablate, cut or remove target tissue by vaporizing tissue. It has been proven to be reliable and easy to operate and it is totally different from traditional surgical tool.
